Meet Dr Chandrasegaram

Dr Chandrasegaram is a Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and General Surgeon who specializes in Pancreatic, Liver and Gallbladder Surgery.

TRAINING

She completed her medical degree (MBChB) through the University of Auckland in 2003 and moved to Sydney in 2004 where she completed her general surgical training and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012.

Manju has undergone subspecialty HPB training through the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia, and Bankstown Hospital in Sydney between 2012-2014 and is a graduate of the Australian New Zealand Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary Association. In 2014, she also worked as a Clinical Research Fellow for the Australian Gastrointestinal Trials Group (AGITG) at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Unit in Lifehouse, Sydney.

RESEARCH

Manju is passionate about clinical research and improving clinical outcomes and has published and presented in national and international meetings on pancreatic cancer, pancreatic surgery and general surgery. She completed a Doctorate in Clinical Surgery through the University of Sydney in 2015.
